About this workshop
College teaches the theory, and companies expect you to build working software. A Google engineer explains the gap between the two and what you can do about it while you’re still in college.
Bring your questions about your own course and college.
What you will learn
- 01
The skills companies expect that most syllabuses skip.
- 02
How to learn them alongside your college classes.
- 03
How to show them on your résumé and in interviews.
Meet your host
Hosts speak for themselves, not for their employers.

Before you register
Is it really free?
Yes. Every NYC workshop is free. You only need to register so we can send you the joining link.
Do I need coding experience?
No. The session is planned for 1st and 2nd-year students, including those who are just starting.
How do I join on the day?
After you register, we send the joining link before the session starts. Open it on your laptop or phone a few minutes early.
Will this get me an internship?
The workshop helps you plan and prepare. You still need to learn, build and practise, and attending does not guarantee an internship.
